All in all I am sickened by your lies
Then Peter came to him and said “lord how often shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him up to seven times?”
And Jesus said to him “I do not say to you up to seven times but up to seventy times seven”
Peters question must be considered in the lighting the preceding subject of church discipline.
Jesus does not give a legalistic or mathematical formula he means limitless forgiveness
Jesus was a man who felt deeply; this is not someone who stoically walked above the situations around Him. As Jesus stood at the tomb of Lazarus, the death of His friend impacted Him. We shouldn’t miss the power of this short statement, because it shows us that God experienced the fullness of human emotions. As a result, Jesus Christ can sympathize with our weeping and our joy. He is with us in every aspect of our lives.
This guy in my Biology class, who’s usually ALWAYS happy was completely quiet the day of Mitch Lucker’s death. Randomly in the middle of the lesson he got up, walked to the board, and started writing.
Rest in peace Mitch Lucker. May you live on through your music.
this is amazing
Coming to his hometown, he began teaching the people in their synagogue, and they were amazed. “Where did this man get this wisdom and these miraculous powers?” they asked. “Isn’t this the carpenter’s son? Isn’t his mother’s name Mary, and aren’t his brothers James, Joseph, Simon and Judas? Aren’t all his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all these things?” And they took offense at him. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own town and in his own home.”
